The quote is from a play called The Frogs, by the ancient Greek playwright Aristophanes. It’s also a bit tongue-in-cheek as the character who says it is not really all about the adventure.
In search of Some Bold Adventure
My name is Donna and I love bold adventures, hiking, travel, and any combination of those things. I am chronically lost, but never afraid to head out in any direction.
Whether it’s motorcycle riding, solo travel, hiking and backpacking, or trying other new activities, it’s time to step outside your comfort zone and pursue bold adventures, too. This website is where I share my adventures, from hiking the West Highland Way in Scotland to learning to ride a motorcycle and seeing where it takes me. I’m trying to lead a more adventurous life and I hope you’ll join me.
I’m a woman over 50 who’s only just getting started – I learned to ride a motorcycle at the age of 54.
